What started out 12 years ago as a few choir members having pizza before practice has evolved into Soul Café Dinner Church. But this is not like any Sunday church service. Soul Café is modeled after the First Century Church, where people gathered to share a meal, enjoy the fellowship of others; to worship God through music, prayer, and “God sightings”.
Every Wednesday at 5:00 PM the tables in the Fellowship Hall are set, the food is prepared, worship music is played, and all who enter are welcome in Jesus’ name. After a prayer and a brief Jesus Story takeout meals are served at 5:30 PM.
Our meals are prepared on site and most of the food is purchased from Second Harvest Food Bank, or donated by local stores and farmers. The meal is free, but donations of any size are welcome.
Volunteers interested in cooking, serving, or donating food items may contact us via email, or call the church office, (386) 437-3258.
